Project | FASHION STORE

I got a chance to design the interior for the country’s largest swim and beach wear outlet in Colombo. Our brief was to revamp a 3500sq feet old building down Thimbirigasyaya, Colombo into a multi-brand fashion store.
Being a swim wear store, our concept was to transform the store into a distinct beach like vibe using white rustic interior paired with wooden shelving, GI pipes, and ropes.
The store anchoring many local and international brands, it was a challenge to follow the same theme and concept throughout the store without losing their own unique brand identity, and as a designer I think I've successfully achieved the goal.

This is a nearly finished entrance way design done for a residential project in Nawala Colombo.
The client requested us to design a small fish pond in his entrance walkway. So to make the clients inspiration and amusement a reality, we transformed the whole entrance way into fish pond and made a walkway through the pond.
The whole entrance way design combines nature into the architecturally design house and gives a cool cozy atmosphere to the house.

I got an opportunity to design Thilakawardhana Life Store’s Cosmetic Section. The client wanted to give a modern and an elegant look to their cosmetic section that will change the look and the perception of their customers. The scope of design included

I got a chance to design the interior of Glitter Nail Spa at Rajagiriya, Colombo. Given a very short time span to complete the project, the whole project was completed in just three weeks.
A simple concept was used for this project which was “making the maximum use of the given space”

Lens Expert by George Gooneratne

I was commissioned to design George Gunarathna Optrimetrics; new fagship store at the Colombo City Center.
The client wanted to completely change their traditional optical store feel to unleash their new brand Lens Expert. The concept of the store was a modern industrial theme.

Scope Cinemas

This was a design proposed for scope cinemas back office walkway wall at the Colombo City Center
I got inspired by music and sound which I later combined with tones of blue to build a unique wave pattern

This is an interior design consultancy I did for a newly opening furniture showroom in Ja-Ela. The client wanted to use the maximum out of his limited floor space and display his furnitures in the most effective way possible. The client was specially concerned about his window display, lighting and also wanted the showroom ambiance to feel like home. After weeks of hard work this is how the showroom turned out to be and the client was very happy of the work
